The massage will ease away any knots in your back, neck and shoulders, and the facial leaves your hard-working skin cleansed, nourished and radiant. You will leave feeling calm and rebalanced, with noticeable improvements to existing aches, pains and ailments.
Body exfoliation
Relax and unwind as your treatment starts with a full body exfoliation.
Feel yourself gently let go of life’s stresses as you enjoy a blend of aloe vera gel, coconut oil, ginger oil, lime extract, jojoba and peppermint oil. This gentle body rub is the perfect way to ease away stresses and strains and its long-lasting benefits leave your skin soft, glowing and restored. The aromatic blend of ingredients gently cleanses and restores your skin, leaving you feeling both warm and deeply relaxed, as well as refreshed.
Candlelit rainfall shower
Prepare for the next part of your treatment, with a rainfall shower in a candlelit shower-room, before returning to enjoy a luxurious massage. A warmed toweling robe will be provided for you. A selection of teas, fresh coffee and biscuits or water infusions will be prepared for you before the next stage of your treatment.
Back, neck and shoulder massage
Warmed organic and 100% organic oil with ginger is used to soothe and relax aching and tired muscles, calm emotions, improve circulation and recharge your body’s immune system.
The Beauty Works holistic massage involves aromatic and essential oils and is designed to treat not only the symptoms of an ailment, but also your general physical and mental health. It’s a profoundly relaxing and remedial treatment which is immediately effective and will leave you feeling deeply relaxed but also invigorated, revived and ready for action.
Facial
Each individual facial and the products used are carefully planned after a full consultation with you in respect of your skin type.
All the products are gentle and kind to your skin and provide a luxurious but relaxing facial treatment which will help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. We will also discuss any particular issues you have with your skin. The most popular products are:
- for dry and sensitive skin – aloe vera leaf and mallow extracts are used to cleanse and soothe.
- for oil / combination skin – cucumber/lemon/grapefruit extract is used to brighten the skin and restore balance.
Facial exfoliant and toner
Using a mix of kiwi extract and coconut, this gentle facial exfoliation removes any remaining make-up, impurities and dead skin, leaving your skin soft, smooth and refreshed. An alcohol-free plant extract toner is then used to refresh and tone.
Facial massage and mask
A calming massage wax, containing lavender and lemon oils, is followed by a green tea cream mask which will gently nourish, hydrate and renew your skin. Your facial is finished with a green tea moisturising cream and a refreshing pomegranate facial mist. Your skin will be left feeling soft, smooth and radiant.
Head massage
The final part of your treatment is a relaxing head massage, which works away any final stresses and leaves you feeling both wonderfully relaxed and restored.
It’s based on the ancient holistic Ayurvedic healing system of Indian head massage, which encompasses the mind, body and spirit and strives to restore the balance and inner harmony of all three to improve the health of an individual.
This massage will include the scalp, face and ears. It can help relax, soothe or invigorate, helping to dispel stress-generated tension in muscles caused by poor blood flow.
